One of the greatest things about being an automotive enthusiest is getting together with other auto minded people - and it doesn't have to be a formal car show. A lot of times it is just crusing the drag, meeting up at the burger drive-in or one of many parking lots to talk cars.
There are also a lot of simple cruise-ins where people gather to show their cars, look at everyone elses cars or modifications since the last time. One of the more consistent showings happen at the Lupe Tortilla resturant in Katy, Texas. Every third Saturday, the returant opens at 8a with breakfast tacos, coffee, and other breakfast beverages as many local auto enthusiests enjoy the fellowship talking and looking at cars and trucks.
The even has grown so popular at the Katy location that Lupe Tortilla #2, located inside the loop at 2414 SW Freeway, Houston, will also be hosting the Tailpipes & Tacos cruise-in and In Wheel Time is there for April.
The weather was threatening, but some dedicated folks ventered out with some seriously classic hot rods. In this segment, we talk with Eric Lipper, who graced the event with his 1969 award winning 429 Boss Mustang #KK 1968.
