We continue with our guests from the August Edition of Tailpipes & Tacos in Katy, Texas. It is the monthly Saturday morning cruise-in that also serves as a fund raiser for 'Shirley's Kids' - the foundation created by the First Lady of Drag Racing, Shirley Muldowney. Shirley actually attending one of the events back in 2019 and hopefully she will find her way back in the near future.
The iconic 1957 Thunderbird has always been somewhat of a 'glamor machine' with several movies using one for effect. So when Charlie Miller went looking at his '57 and heard the story about how it had been in the movie 'Sin City', that pretty well sealed the deal.
As the fourth owner of the car that came with both roofs and a 312 D code engine, Charlie is trying to keep the car as original as he can while still enjoying an occasional drive on a Saturday morning.
