Route 66 is the fabled Mother Road that really set the country in motion as the 'first' national highway that ran 2,400 miles from Chicago to the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, the road went through 8-states and crossed three time zones. It has inspired travelers since it officially opened in 1926. One of the states with the longest stretch of the highway is Oklahoma.
Spanning the state east to west, it seems logical to have the official Oklahoma Route 66 Museum located in Clinton, Oklahoma along the original route. Pat Smith, Museum curator joins us for a quick tour of the museum.
