Pikes Peak Hill Climb! Richard Tomlin and Raymund Gurerro in the '888' Viper...

Since the first race in 1916, teams of 'racers' have been challenging the the hill. The very first winner established a time of 20:55.600 to cover the 12.42 miles that contains 156 turns.

What started as a promotion to attract tourist to the area and a new hotel in particular has turned into an annual international event.

In this segment, we talk with Richard Tomlin, Houston Area SCCA Executive that is also serving to support car #888, a Viper driven by Raymund Guerro. We learn some about the history of the race and the modern challenges of a race that starts at 9,390 ft above sea level and finishes at 14,115 - making for some unique mechanical challenges.

In our feature segment, Michael Marrs is in then New Car Showroom with the 2021 Subaru Ascent - a mid-size SUV/CUV in the tradition of Subaru AWD vehicles.
