The 2024 Hot Rod Tour of Texas was an electrifying journey through the Lone Star State, igniting the passion of car enthusiasts and adrenaline junkies alike. Over the course of three days, this event brought together classic hot rods, muscle cars, trucks and custom rides from 14 states for a chance to share the automotive world of style and comradery with a common interest.
Kicking off in the vibrant city of Victoria on Thursday night, the tour roared to life with a car show around the town square as the City celebrated a 200 year anniversary. The City symphony was on hand along with regional dancers and plenty of food trucks on the square. Against the backdrop of celebrations, participants showcased their meticulously restored vintage beauties and cutting-edge custom builds, each a testament to the enduring allure of American automotive craftsmanship. Each with a story to tell.
This week, on the In Wheel Time Car Talk podcast, we will be sharing more of the sights and scenes from the 2024 event. To make our Saturday show, the crew hustled to get content Thursday night, Friday and Friday night. Don Armstrong was able to represent the program for the remainder of the tour and we will be talking about that on some of our upcoming programs.
We hope you enjoy these brief looks at the 2024 Hot Rod Tour of Texas, and we are looking forward to hearing more about the 2025 plans!
