In our Car Club spotlight is the Texas Triumph Registry, the largest Triumph club in the Nation after being started in 1981.

Over on the right side of Texas, the City of Beaumont is haveing their Main Street Gala in May, Greg Riley, a friend of the show, has been working to help get period correct vehicles, while the local Hagerty Members Club is putting together a tour for members. There will also be food, music, dancing, and Greg will be presenting a history of the Spindeltop Oil Boom that changed the world.

We do like racing, any racing. Joining us today with an update on the world of oval racing is Randy Rodriquez. Rodney is also sharing some info about this new podcast - Dirty Air.

EVs are here and some of them are 'fast', to say the least. Helping this along is Ford Performance Parts, with the announcement of their new electric crate motor. Ms Hot Rod, Autumn Schwalbe, NHRA licensed driver and Ford Motor Company spokesman is here with some information about the crate motor and how it can be used. In fact, she shares with us the story of the F100 build that Ford did for SEMA 2021, and it is a great example of how this crate motor can be utilized. Can you say 1966 Mustang EV?

We also talk with our friend on the West Coast, Jack Nerad, noted automotive author. We check on gas prices in his area, get some idea of what Jack has been driving, and we discuss the world of EVs, particularly EV trucks.

In our feature segments, Jeff Dziekan is out, so Michael Marrs is covering the POV segment with a look at the 2007-2014 Chevrolet truck, while in the New Car Showroom his checks out the 2022 Kia Sonata. Don Armstrong makes a pass through the New Car Showroom where he found the 2022 Toyota Camry TRD - who knew the Camry came in a TRD?

Konrad DeLong has the Car Clinic as we get our climate control systems ready for summer, and he has This Week In Auto History.
