In Wheel Time Car Talk

For some time now, we have been hearing more and more about self-driving vehicles - how much safer the roads will be.  The basic idea is that the 'computer' will evaluate all situations and make the most logical decision which is primarily to avoid an accident.  We already have adaptive cruise control systems to keep vehicles space, we already have blind spot monitoring, we have systems to keep a vehicle in a lane, and cameras so we can see around us to avoid an accident.  So if we have so much technology that under the right circumstances a vehicle can drive own it's own, why do we have issues?  For one the infrastructure is not all built to support the sensors needed for a vehicle to know where it is and where it is going.  However, the most important piece of the puzzle is the loose nut behind the wheel - the human factor.

Join us as we talk with Kelly Funkhouser from Consumer Reports on what their investigation into the Houston Tesla event found.

In our feature segment, Jeff Dziekan has been over at the Pre-owned Showroom where he found a 2018 Honda Ridgeline - a very popular vehicle that can be hard to find.
